The Bungalow
A fully accessible, self-contained bungalow perfect for small groups, families and visitors with additional mobility needs.
The purpose-built bungalow offers modern facilities and is ideal for smaller groups, family stays and groups with additional needs. The Bungalow has a maximum capacity of 29 beds with a self-catering option for visitors as well as catered. The Bungalow has the most breathtaking views across Windermere, Coniston and Langdale. Situated only a few minutes' stroll from the main house. Can be combined with The Lodge for extra bed space.
Accessible features of our Bungalow include the following:
- Level access to and from the Bungalow from our private adjacent car park.
- Level flooring throughout.
- Two manual hoists available
- Two spacious wet rooms/bathroom with one portable shower table.
- One single room available with a profiling bed
- Two other rooms with space for wheelchair users.
- Lockable kitchen.
- Games Room/Meeting Room with ramped access at front and rear of building.
- Door alarms can be set if required.
- Access path around the lovely grounds enabling guests to reach our camp fire site and Tipi.
